FTI offers a vast range of High Vacuum (HV) and Ultra High Vacuum (UHV) components to help meet your ever changing needs. These include ConFlat (CF), Klein (KF) and ISO styles.
Our product pages and catalogue show most of the parts usually required for system connections, but if you do not find what you are looking for, please do not hesitate to consult our sales team, as they are always pleased to assist with special adaptations, including machined flanges, lateral connectors & unusual hoses etc.
Many vacuum systems are semi-permanent and have the need to be occasionally disassembled or cannot be permanently welded due to heat sensibility or replacement needs.
There are many flange designs the more commonly used have a soft gasket squeezed between harder flange surfaces to form a leak-free seal. The various gasket materials are rubbers, elastomers (springy polymers), soft polymers covering a springy metal (e.g., PTFE covered stainless steel), and soft metal (copper or aluminium).
When planning a new vacuum chamber, the designer should choose components that Matches the vacuum conditions and temperatures required and is unaffected by any of the materials under vacuum
The FTI ranges of CF and ISO/KF types are so convenient, low cost, and widely available that they predominate in practical vacuum systems. Mixing flange types using adapters is possible but not recommended unless necessary to match existing components or fittings. However, using one flange type for chamber-mounted components and another for fore line components is common practice.

FTI are able to provide vacuum hoses made to your specification.
They can be supplied with no braid or single / double braid depending upon pressure / vacuum rating.
Simply inform us of the hose internal diameter (ID) and its length and choice of end fittings and whatever size required. Hose ends can be stainless steel tube stubs for compression fittings, KF/CF or ISO vacuum fittings, HTC (VCR®) fittings or threaded fittings in NPT, BSPP (parallel) or BSPT (tapered).
FTI supply a range of vacuum / pressure gauges.
They are available in a choice of 63mm or 100mm dial with bottom connections (1/4 BSPP). They are stainless steel cased with brass mechanism - although full stainless steel versions are also available if required.
Pressure / vacuum ratings are from -30hg to +60psi
