FTI offer a full range of high quality flexible hoses to meet your exact requirements in terms of length, pressure, carried medium, end connections etc.
 Our hose range offers the user a high quality PTFE lined hose with an option of single or double stainless steel overbraid and a selection of end connections from tube stub, BSPT male or female, NPT male or female and BSPP female. The hoses are available in various nominal sizes from 3/8 to 1".
FTI's Smoothflex Hoses are PTFE lined which makes them usable in a temperature range from -70ºC to +260ºC depending on the braid and working pressures. They have an excellent dynamic flex life and perform well at high pressure in flexing or vibrating applications.
PTFE offers excellent chemical resistance. PTFE (Teflon®) is also known for its non-stick properties, this ensures that the material passing through the hose doesn't become "hung-up" inside the hose creating the risk of contamination - therefore the hose is effectively "self cleaning".
FTI's Smoothflex hose is available in two main categories: Smoothflex-S & Smoothflex-R.
 Smoothflex S has a smooth bore seamless PTFE liner with excellent dynamic flex life that performs well at high pressures especially in flexing or vibrating applications.
Smoothfle R has a smooth bore, highly flexible PTFE liner, with a ribbed support. The Integral rib sections supports the tube against kinking, vacuum and pressure.
Steelflex Hose
 FTI's Steelflex flexible metal hose is a close pitched stainless steel annular convoluted hose that offers a high degree of flexibility for most applications.
The Steelflex hoses are available with an option of single or double stainless steel over-braid that prevents elongation of the convoluted hose and increases the working pressures.
A selection of end connections (tube stub, BSPT male & female, NPT male & female and BSPP female) makes the Steelflex hose suitable for most applications.
The Steelflex hose comes in a full range of both metric (6mm to 250mm) and imperial sizes (¼ to 10").
FTI are able to provide vacuum hoses made to your specification.
They can be supplied with no braid or single / double braid depending upon pressure / vacuum rating.
Simply inform us of the hose internal diameter (ID) and its length and choice of end fittings. Hose ends offered are stinless steel tube stubs for compression fittings, KF/CF or ISO vacuum fittings, HTC (VCR®) fittings or threaded fittings in NPT, BSPP (parallel) or BSPT (tapered).
 FTI supplies a high quality Polymeric Hose for use with inert gases (including H2 and HE, but not suitable for Acetylene) complete with anti-whip cable.
Standard stocked hose lengths are 1, 2 and 3 metre with ¼ NPT female ends.
The hose has an inner core of high density polymer which is reinforced with high tensile brass plated steel and then coated in a black anti-abrasive PE cover.
The hose is suitable for up to 300bar working pressure with a temperature range of -40ºC to +100ºC.
The hoses are tagged with a batch number, data and part number on a printed label and are supplied cleaned to process gas standard.
 FTI supplies a high quality Flexible Metal Hose for use with inert and corrosive industrial gases complete with anti-whip cable.
The hose has an inner core of convoluted 316 stainless steel, reinforced with two braids of HPG grade stainless steel.
The hose is suitable for up to 300bar working pressure with a temperature range of -60ºC to +150ºC.
Standard stocked hose lengths are 1, 2 and 3 metre with ¼ NPT female ends.
The hoses are tagged with a batch number, data and part number on a printed label and are supplied cleaned to oxygen standard (SQP 14, 15 & 16)
